Throw open the doors and fling open the windows – the sun is out and spring is here!
Today’s beautiful weather found me running errands around town and into Ideal Cheese Shop in Midtown.
The knowledgeable folks behind the counter turned me on to Spring Brook Farm Tarentaise Reserve: an aged, Alpine-style raw cow’s milk cheese from Vermont with a tangy, vague nutty stink. Hello gorgeous! You are coming with me to a rooftop party tonight!
They also introduced me to a crisp French Jenlain Printemps Ale paired with an aged Gouda. It’s a zoomy combo, perfect for park picnic fun, so keep that in mind for your next day date with your honey.
