Mary Connolly is the chef/owner of Marie Fromage LLC and currently an instructor at The French Cheese Board in New York City.

A Montclair, NJ native, Mary’s love for cheese began at The Cheese Shop of Upper Montclair, NJ where she worked as a cheese monger and sandwich maker for five years, many moons ago.

Mary holds a culinary degree from the French Culinary Institute (now known as the International Culinary Center); a Certificat de Stage for Essential Foundations for Cheese Professionals from Académie MonS (France); a cheese boot camp training certificate from Murray’s Cheese (NYC) and is a member of the American Cheese Society. She also holds a B.F.A. in theater from The Catholic University of America and has professional experience as a singer, chef, costume designer, public relations professional and executive assistant.
